Consultation Questionnaire
Our consultation questionnaire is your opportunity to tell us everything that we need to know so that we can work our dining room design magic. Everything that you and your family love, but also everything that you hate! Are their pieces of furniture or items of artwork that you would like us to draw inspiration from or must include in our designs? Should our designs allow for a growing or changing family? We ask some pretty in-depth questions but we also give you the opportunity to add even more information and detail – every little bit helps!
Mood Boards
From there, dependent on your package, we create 2-3 mood boards for your dining room design. Based on your consultation questionnaire, this is what our designers believe will inspire you mixed together with a little of their own secret sauce and a sprinkling of fairy dust. You can request up to two modifications making sure that you’re satisfied and happy before we move on to the next steps.
Concept Design in 3D
When you’ve told us which mood board or a combination of them you like, we create your scaled dining room concept design in 3D. Why scaled and why 3D? Scaled means that we represent the actual, true size of your room, wall heights, window sizes and items in our dining room design. Working this way makes it easier for you to understand, imagine and visualise or see how the design will work in your space. If your dining table, chairs and window dressings look right in our concept design, you can be certain that it will feel right in reality.
High-Quality Images
We then finish off by supplying HQ Images (high quality) of your dining room design. So why HQ Images? Because you know how you feel when you flick through your Homes & Gardens, Style Magazine and Pinterest you go wow because it’s a snapshot that gives you that instant ‘I see that and I love that’? Why’s that important? See, these HQ Images give you the confidence to know that your decisions and choices are right. Sometimes you just need to see it, to know that it’s right and with HQ Images from different angles, that’s exactly what you get.
Floor Plan Layout
In your dining room design package, we also create a Floor Plan Layout showing you exactly what to place what, where. Your Shopping & Supplier List details paint, tiles, furniture and other accessories so you know where to get the items to replicate the exact look. We do our best to make this whole interior design process easy for you!
Extras
Our Toki package goes one further by creating an animation of your dining room design either as a walkthrough or flythrough. That gives you an added perspective and feel for your dining room space allowing you to fine-tune those small details that can sometimes make all the difference. You also bag a 25% discount on our online store for all of your purchases for a whole year!! The fully scaled plans of your dining room design are yours to pass on to your builder, electrician or Audio Visual contractor. This is invaluable because it allows you to share your vision with them. That helps them to know exactly what they need to do and supply to make sure that you get exactly what you want. These are also handy when they are quoting for the job as it significantly cuts down on variations, meaning that you’re less likely to suffer any major budget blowouts.
